Ivona Tau’s art merges the aesthetics of painting and photography with AI to create surreal and abstract worlds. Using a blend of mathematical and artistic techniques, she explores cityscapes, memory, and imagination through futuristic and cyber-punk visuals. Coining the term “motion painting,” Tau’s meditative, looping animations blur the line between photography and moving images, inspired by her roots in analog photography and its rich textures. She holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
