a temporary arrangement of material
A Temporary Arrangement of Material explores the intersection of digital and analog art-making. Created for Bright Moments Paris, the project juxtaposes generative algorithms with human craftsmanship, highlighting the impermanence of creation. Grasser used a generative algorithm to produce digital outputs and then replicated these using colored construction paper, glue, and scissors. By translating digital instructions into physical collages, the work emphasizes the fluidity between mediums — paint, thread, pixel, and code — while questioning the idea of finality in art. This temporary interplay of material invites viewers to reflect on the evolving relationship between technology, human touch, and the creative process.

Squares
Art Blocks Collection: Presents
Heritage Art Blocks Collection: Factory
Squares utilizes the shape of a square as a unit of construction, combining and overlapping them at various scales to create interplays of color, structure, and atmosphere. The overall effect is something along the lines of Bauhaus meets Blade Runner, as complex rectilinear forms float untethered through fields of light and texture.
