Alongside Jeff Koons, Peter Halley, and Ashley Bickerton, Vaisman was part of the influential group dubbed the “Fantastic Four,” celebrated for their critical exploration of consumer culture, media, and the commodification of art. He was also a co-founder of the groundbreaking East Village gallery International With Monument, a key space for emerging conceptual artists during that era.
